I've tried and tested many recipes from many websites I've found online. This turns out good every time.
Banana Bread Recipe
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 1 hour
INGREDIENTS
3 or 4 ripe bananas, smashed
1/3 cup melted butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
Pinch of Salt
1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour (മൈദാ)

But sometimes I like to give it my own twist.
For people who aren't sure how much a 'pinch of salt'(in the recipe) is, I would recommend using salted butter and skipping the salt as such.
You can try adding different nuts each time you make it- it would taste slightly different every time. Or if you have kids(especially below 2-2 1/2 yrs) eating this, you can stick to the recipe and make it completely nut-free.

METHOD
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). With a wooden spoon, mix butter into the mashed bananas in a large mixing bowl. Mix in the sugar, egg, and vanilla. Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and mix in. Add the flour last, mix. Pour mixture into a buttered 4x8 inch loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour. Cool on a rack. Remove from pan and slice to serve.
Yield: Makes one loaf.
